Presenting Our Esteemed Client:
Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of construction and landscaping machinery and equipment. They are currently seeking for general labors for day and afternoon shifts to join their team in Pickering, Ontario.
Location: Pickering (Vehicle is required to commute)
Shifts and Pay Rates:
Day Shift: 11 am to 7:30 PM - Pay Rate: $21 per hr + 4% Vacation pay
Afternoon Shift- 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM- Pay rate $21 a hour +4% vacation pay (Pay rate is paid as 3:30 to 8pm at $21/hour, after 8pm to 12am with additional night premium of $2/hour which makes them 4 hours paid at $23/hour
What a typical day looks like:
- Packing products into boxes
- Shipping products in a timely manner to customers
- Manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling and sorting
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Lead Hand
- Able to pick product from the pick tower
Requirements:
What are we looking for:
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to use RF Scanner
- Knowledge of safety rules
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand for long period of time
- Able to work, 11am - 7:30pm or 3:30pm - 12:00am
- Able to work OT as required on a volunteer basis
- Able to commute by vehicle
- Night shift premium $2 per hour from 8pm - midnight
