Job Description
Armor People Link is recruiting for suitable talent to manage Logistics & warehouse Inventory for our renowned supply chain and logistics international client with over 300 DC's across world, this position will be based of in Mississauga, ON. To be eligible for this role, you should have minimum one year of experience operating the Order Picker forklift with hands on experience on inventory management
Major intersection: 401 and Mavis Road, Mississauga
Compensation: $20-$22/hr depending upon the candidate experience + 4% vacation pay
Afternoon shift: 3:30 PM-12:00 AM
Operate Order Picker forklift in a safe working environment
Accurately count, correct, and report inventory quantities on assigned components and finished goods
Coordinate component movements with the supply chain group and transfer between locations as per production requirements
Complete all reporting / paperwork requirements on assigned components in a timely manner
Use WMS (Pyramid, EDMS) UFMS to identify the missing components for production, keep the operations team informed and update the Operations Manager
Verify pallet tag quantities, parts and storage unit numbers, record identified discrepancies and keep the stakeholders informed
Demonstrate mastery over the cycle count process
Avoid holding excess inventory and redirect accordingly
Perform quality audits on condition and accuracy of inventory
Demonstrate excellent communication skills when communicating with clients on emails or telephone
Perform root cause analysis when analyzing the inventory discrepancies
Demonstrate attention to detail and analytical skills
Submit weekly and monthly inventory reports to operations manager
Ability to walk and stand for longer periods as this role will require to go on the warehouse floor for physical inventory analysis
Maintain a clean and safe workplace
Adhere to all safety protocols
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Shift time:Ability to work with extended hours and weekends flexibility as required during the monthly & quarterly counts or peak season
Candidate must be comfortable to working on heights for inventory counts and analysis
Order picker license is mandatory
Min 1 to 2 years of work experience is preferred for this role
CSA approved steel-toed safety boots are required on site

An interview will be conducted by Armor consultant
Qualified candidates will be presented further to our client
Final interview and decision will be taken by our client for successful on-boarding of suitable candidates. Police clearance check and reference check will be conducted prior to selection of suitable talent
