Job Description
Armor People Link is hiring for Quality Control Assistant for our large multinational photography and imaging client located in Mississauga.
Location: 401 and Mavis Road, Mississauga
It is a key role, a one year contract with potential extension
The primary objective of this role is to generate Technical documentation to support the production operations
Job Duties:
· During off season, develop and maintain comprehensive SOP, technical bulletins, preventative maintenance, and equipment operation documentation using internal or industry frameworks and templates that meet and support the demands of the PPPG business division
· Participate in new product development by conducting experiments, measurements, evaluations, and documenting observations
· Develop and drive standardized strategies and methods for analyzing, collecting data/content, revising, and centralizing all categories of documentation
· Generate documentation to convey processes and concepts that can effectively apply to various readers
· Periodically review and validate current documentation, frameworks, and templates for continuous improvement opportunities
· Generate and spearhead all applicable and required documentation and related activities for new product launches
· Assist with physical sampling audits and report generation for staged and/or incoming overseas inventory.
· Identify and document non-conformances and provide innovati
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications
1-3 years' experience as an effective technical writer an asset
Strong English-language writing skills with a conversational yet professional voice
Cognizant of information hierarchy and formulating the appropriate structure
Strong research and critical thinking skills
Proven ability to understand complex topics, design workflows, and recognize inefficiencies
Confident to ask questions and open to healthy collaboration
Self-sufficient with the ability to work with little to no supervision or instructions at times
Well-versed with using Android/iOS tablets, Windows-based equipment and software but not limited to, MSWord, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Organized and disciplined to stayorganized especially during high bandwidth demands
Exposure to a Quality Management System or similar documentation control system is an asset
Comfortable navigating and interacting around machinery

Selection Criteria:
Candidate will be required to complete a client specific test for qualification review
An interview will be conducted by Armor consultant
Qualified candidates will be presented further to our client
Final interview and decision will be taken by our client for successful on-boarding of suitable candidates
