Our client is a global logistics and freight forwarding company looking for Logistics Distribution Administrative Assistants for their Mississauga location. These agents will be responsible to provide customer service and administrative support. Candidates are required to be flexible to work in any given schedule

Job responsibilities: Distribution Administrative Assistant- AM Shift - Temp to Hire
 Distribution agent / Client service agent would be responsible for working in an office environment and assisting with 3PL/ Logistics customer service, order management, tracking of inbound and outbound daily, weekly and monthly orders.
 Schedules inbound loads and enters them into the system.
 Checks all Bills of lading for inbound receiving tallies to ensure accuracy.
 Files receiving copies along with necessary documentation.
 Speak with carriers and arrange appointment times.
 Communicates to Supervisor/Managers any inbound freight that does not make their appointment for day scheduled.
 Assists with inventory adjustments in Warehouse Management System
 Ensures the export shipments are closed out upon loading completion
 Experienced in Excel (pivot table/ charts/ v lookup/ etc.)
 Must have strong problem-solving skills
 Experienced in applying customer service skills
 Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Ability to commit to Full-time hours and flexibility to work a shift between the hours of 7am to 7pm
 Previous experience in customer facing roles is a strong asset
 Previous experience in Logistics, supply chain and warehouse accounts customer service is a must
