Our client is a global logistics and freight forwarding company looking for Logistics Administrative Assistant for their Mississauga location. These agents will be responsible to provide customer service and administrative support. The client is looking for candidates with strong organizational skills, good English communication skills and flexible to work in client facing working environments. The client is willing to train the candidate.
This is a long-term, ongoing position with excellent potential of becoming a permanent full-time job.
Shifts: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The candidate should be flexible to work in any given shift schedule
Rate: $18.00 an hour + 4% vacation pay

Position:
The Warehouse Administrative Person handles inbound OR outbound appointments, and provides clerical support for warehouse and logistics management and supervisory staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Schedules inbound loads and enters them into the system.
Checks all Bills of lading for inbound receiving tallies to ensure accuracy.
Files receiving copies along with necessary documentation.
Speak with carriers and arrange appointment times.
Reconciles all invoicing issues related to inbound shipments.
Closes out all receiving orders in Warehouse Management System
Retrieves daily reports off system every morning/afternoon.
Communicates to Supervisor/Managers any inbound freight that does not make their appointment for day scheduled.
Helps receive UPS and FedEx shipments or other
Requirements:
Must have experience in Excel and Word
Must have strong problem-solving skills
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience in customer facing roles is a strong asset
Previous experience in Logistics, supply chain and warehouse accounts customer service is an asset
