Armor People Link is hiring Assistant Press Operator for Brampton based client who manufactures plastic food bags.
The company is located at Queen and Rutherford Intersection.
The candidate will be doing all 3 shifts as below: (BIWEEKLY ROTATIONAL SHIFTS)
Morning Shift: 7 am-3:15pm at $22.36
Afternoon Shift: 3pm- 11:15pm at $22.36+$ 0.75 (as afternoon shift premium)
Night Shift: 11:15pm-7:15am at $22.36+ $1.25 (as night shift premium)
PLEASE NOTE- *The client is looking for candidates who are available to work full-time and are not attending school. The candidate MUST be available to work on a bi-weekly rotating shift schedule.*

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Assisting Press Operator with press set-up
Changing cylinders, sleeves, aniloxes and other machine parts
Loading raw material onto press with lifting equipment
Unloading printed rolls from press & straps onto skids
Requirements:
WHO IS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Anyone who has completed the high school diploma
Anyone with minimum 6 months of previous press and printing experience (Previous flexo, offset, or roto-gravure printing experience is an asset)
Confidence working with basic machines as Machine Operator is also valued
Prior experience of working different shifts is an asset (preferably night shifts)
Ability to multi-task and stand for long periods of time and to lift up to 40lbs unassisted
Qualifications:
SELECTION CRITERIA:
An interview will be conducted by Armor consultant
Qualified candidates will be presented further to our client for an interview
Final decision will be taken by our client for successful on-boarding of suitable candidates
Police clearance check is a MUST
Double vaccination status is required
