Job Description
Armor People Link is Currently looking for Morning and Afternoon Shift Forklift Operators to work for our Logistics and distribution client in Mississauga. BOTH morning and afternoon shifts available. Scope of hiring is available with our client. This is a long term job and candidates who prove their abilities/ skills has chances of growth at our client.
Location: Britannia Rd West & Erin Mills Pkwy in Mississauga
Shifts: 8am to 4:30pm, 11:30 am to 8pm, 3:30pm to 12am
Pay rate: $22/hour + 4% vacation pay
Overtime will be paid after 44 hours, pay is on weekly basis
Forklift: Crown Reach and Counterbalance
Job Duties: Forklift driver would be responsible to operate any of the machines based on daily/weekly operational requirements (Counterbalance and Crown Reach)
Shipping and Receiving
Order picking using WMS Building and staging shipments
Stock put-away
Inventory maintenance/rotation
Load and unload trailers/containers as required
General warehouse duties as assigned
Actively communicate with supervisors and operators to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns
Stack skids or pallets in designated areas.
Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping and place in proper containers or designated areas
Manual work may be required Container de-stuffing from time to time additional work as expected
Promote a clean, safe and positive work environment.
Requirements:
Forklift - Certified
- Valid Forklift driving license to operate Crown reach and Counterbalance machines
-Ability to pass the Background check
-Associate will be required to pass an initial safe forklift operator test at our client site
-CSA approved steel-toed safety boots are required on site
-Associates are required to be prompt and on-time
- Associate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, productivity-focused environment
-Associate must be comfortable with frequent bending, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs
