Are you an experienced forklift operator looking for a new job opportunity in Mississauga? Look no further! We might have a perfect position for you.
Armor People Link is currently looking for Crown Reach and Dockstocker forklift operators with clamp experience to work for our Logistics and distribution client in Mississauga. This is a long-term, ongoing position with excellent potential of becoming a permanent full-time job.
Location: 401 and Mavis Road, Mississauga
Timings: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Pay rate: $19 an hour + 4% vacation pay
Overtime will be paid after 44 hours, pay is on weekly basis
What you will be doing:
Forklift driver would be responsible to operate any of the machines based on daily/weekly operational
requirements (Dockstocker and Crown Reach)
Must be able to work in shipping and receiving department
Engagement in order picking using WMS Building and staging shipments
Carry out stocks and putting it away
Perform regular inspection and maintenance of forklift.
Manage the load and unload of trailers/containers as required
Follow with supervisors and operators to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns

Requirements:
Who is an ideal candidate:
- Must have valid Forklift license to operate Reach and Dockstocker machines
- Ability to pass the Background check
- Associate will be required to pass an initial safe forklift operator test at our client site
- Associate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, productivity-focused environment
- Associate must be comfortable with frequent bending, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs
