Job Description
Our national retailor client, with 100's of locations in Canada and US, is looking for general labor associate for Packaging, Labelling, Ticketing, Processing, shipping and receiving, sortation departments. Our client is a distributor of products such as clothes, furniture, crockery, food and jewelry etc. In simple the products you see at the stores such as Winners, Marshall and Homesense. These products can be of different sizes, shapes and weight.
We have multiple Job openings starting immediately to work 4 days for 10 hours during the weekdays and 3 days for 12 hours on Friday to Sunday shifts.
Job Location: Brampton and Mississauga
Location 1: Torbram Road and Queen (Brampton)
Location 2: West Drive and Queen street (Brampton)
Location 3: American Drive and Airport Road (Mississauga)
Day shift: 5am to 3:30pm, Pay rate: $16.55/hour - Working day Monday to Thursday (10 hours of shifts )
Afternoon shift: 4pm to 2:30am (mid-night), pay rate: $17.55/hour, Working day Monday to Thursday (10 hours of shifts )
Department premium(shipping/receiving/maintenance): ($0.40 and $0.25)
Weekly bonus of $150for perfect attendance, check with us eligibility criteria
Duties: Packaging, Labelling, Ticketing, scanning, Counting, Data entry
(Department details and job responsibilities will be explained to associates during the interview and screening)
Some departments offers extra premium benefits working in them such as Shipping, Receiving and sortation
physically moving products from one station to other, using pump truck,
Lifting from 5 lbs to 50 lbs, ability to reach heights, ability to bend, stand and walk through out the shift
physically removing product from trailers with a conveyor, by hand, or pump truck
Requirements:
Ability to Lift 30 to 50lbs through out the shift
Ability to use a pump truck
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Ability to commit to shift Monday through Friday
Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience dealing with products
Ability to 30 to 50 lbs
Ability to Stand, Bend and lift products throughout the shift
Ability to load and unload containers
Ability to use a pump truck
Ability to handle products of different sizes, shapes and weight
Clear criminal background check
Ability to commit to shift Monday through Friday
Must understand safe workplace policies and procedures
Ability to read, write and speak in English
