Armor People Link is looking for potential candidate who is able to do operational warehouse duties. This company is a typical food/Cheese manufacturing plant, where they follow Health and safety, Hygiene, Goods manufacturing policies very strictly & thoroughly without any exceptions. It is a cheese packaging plant (cheese, 85% pre-packaged product that is a repack, 15% fresh made on-site product, to package and pack). Manufacturing unit is sectioned into three areas: Processing, Production and Packaging. Associates must be flexible to work in any area but most of the time they will be required to work in their designated departments.

This is a full time warehouse associates role for two Shift timings; Morning and Afternoon.
Morning: 6: 00 AM TO 3: 00 PM
Afternoon: 11: 00 AM TO 9: 00 PM

Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Are interested, willing, and able to make a long term commitment to full time work.
After their training period and after completing their hours with you, they will move onto our payroll - if they cannot do this or are not interested in this, they do not qualify for this role
Are hardworking and dedicated
Have the ability to lift up to 22kg and the ability and interest to work in a variety of environments including room temperature, cold, hot, as well as wet environments
Have some experience in similar roles in the past
Must have strong oral and written English communication skills, as well as a strong amount of mathematical aptitude.

General plant temperature is about 4 degrees, as its a cheese manufacturing plant therefore you can smell cheese there. If you are not comfortable with the temperature requirements and cheese smell, please inform Armor representative prior to accepting this role.
Skills Required:
 Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and to meet production/packaging rates on a consistent basis.
 Ability to strictly adhere to Quality, HACCP and GMP standards and procedures with no non-conformances in CFIA audits.
 Ability to ensure work is performed in a safe manner and anticipating customer desires for high standards of quality & consistency.
 Ability to perform work and carry out duties with minimal supervision.
Selection Criteria:

 An interview will be conducted by Armor consultant
 Qualified candidates will be presented further to our client.
 Associate will be required to pass an initial safe forklift operator test at our client site
