Order Picker Forklift Operator - PM Shift- APLFL

Our client is a national retailor of Babies and Toys products based out at Concord. They are seeking for an Order Picker forklift Driver for the afternoon shift. This is a temporary to Permanent role.

Read and match labels to product to ensure quality standards are met at each stage.
Match and verify labels against picking manifest.
Report any discrepancies or damages to the Supervisor.
Pick and put away cartons by using powered equipment.
Inspect all powered equipment and complete the daily inspection sheet before operation of any powered equipment.
Shrink wrap pallet or case pick cart to ensure cartons are transferred safely.
Practice safe stacking and securing of materials onto pallets.
Stack empty pallets as needed and adhere to all housekeeping standards.
Ensure internal and external customers' requirements are met in an efficient manner
Maintain your work area in a safe and organized manner
Comply with company's Health and Safety policies, procedures and standards and with the OHSA.
Must be able to meet all productivity standards established by the company.
Previous picking and put away experience, including strong auditing skills.
Must have prior experience with using computers and possess basic computer skills
Must have previous experience using RF Guns.
Must have previous experience and / or hold a valid Order Picker license
Knowledge of AS400 system.
Must be willing to work flexible hours in support of business needs (days or afternoons)
Must have high initiative, integrity and dependability to function effectively as a team player
Must be able to perform the physical demands of the position (able to lift up to 40 lbs)
Good oral and written communication skills
Good attention to detail and accuracy
English comprehension and Mathematical skills
Good organizational skills
Ability to prioritize work and resolve issues effectively
- Must have CSA approved safety shoes
- Eligibility to work Monday through Friday and some weekend Over-time if required
- Ability to adhere Health and safety policies and procedures
- Ability to follow COVID Guidelines
