Job Description

Armor People Link is looking for a Team leader for our Mississauga based manufacturing client. The candidate will be responsible for leading shipping team as well as responsible to operate a Forklift ( Raymond reach and counterbalance). This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for temporary to permanent role within 3-6 months and benefits will be available upon hiring with our client.

Location: Heritage Road and Meadowvale road - Mississauga

Job responsibilities:

1) Team Lead:

Drives and supports the team
Trouble shoot
Excellent communication skills
Coordinates well with the other teams

Pick and Pack colourant orders. (relabeling, wrapping and strapping)
Ensure Orders are staged from the day before, verify lot numbers and counts to ensure accuracy of shipment.
Add Labels\ Barcodes to specific BASF customer orders as needed.
Print BOL and packing slips for BASF shipments.
Ensure Loads are secured with the proper material (2x4's / Tygaurd\ Airbags)

Ensure inbound loads match the BOL (Counts and Lot Numbers)
Take samples to be submitted to the lab
Add part and lot Number labels to each skid.
Putting away shipments in the designated Aisles based on what department the shipment is for (attention has to be paid to the weight and height of skids to ensure the racking can hold the product).
Pay attention to courier/small parcel deliveries,( receive and process shipments that come in addressed to the Purchasing dept).
Plan Ahead for incoming FTL to ensure space is available for the load to be cleared of the dock in a timely manner.
Put away skids from the Filling Dept in the designated areas based on customer and colour series.


General House keeping to keep the shipping area clean and organized.
Add water to Raymonds and forklifts as needed
Good computer skills - excel, Outlook, Microsoft etc.
Experience with WMS and Inventory

- Minimum 2 years or Raymond reach and counterbalance forklift experience
- Minimum 2 year of experience in a leadership role
- Knowledge of WMS and MS Office
- Must possess qualities such as attention to detail, Written & verbal communication skills
- Valid Forklift License
- Clear criminal record check
