Here is the Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting Forklift Operators (Crown Reach & Counterbalance) for upcoming opportunities with a global logistics and distribution leader. The forklift operators will be responsible for operating the machine to pick all orders in a safe, accurate and methodical manner. This is a long-term, ongoing position and candidates with exceptional work ethics, attendance and performance can be given a hired-on opportunity with our client.
What a typical day looks like?
Forklift driver would be responsible for operating any of the machines based on daily/weekly operational requirements
Working in shipping and receiving department
Engagement in order picking using WMS Building and staging shipments
Carry out stocks and putting it away
Perform regular inspection and maintenance of forklift
Manage the load and unload of trailers/containers as required
Follow with supervisors and operators to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns
Requirements:
What are we looking for:
- Must have valid Forklift license to operate Counter Balance and Reach machines
- Must have 1 year valid experience on Crown Counter Balance and Reach Forklifts
- Ability to pass the Background check
- Associate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, productivity-focused environment
- Associate must be comfortable with frequent bending, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in any given department
