Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:
The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Supervisor with the day to day maintenance of the facilities, including the cleanliness and upkeep of the grounds, repairs and maintenance to all equipment in the
building and the offices.

*This role is not for anyone who is attending schools (in person or online)*

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:
Perform maintenance on machinery i.e. inspect and examine machinery and equipment for detects and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure machines are working good and steady condition
Troubleshoot and repair machinery in a timely manner; repair or replace defective parts
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
Estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed and maintain spare parts inventory
Ensure heating and air conditioning are working properly
Check and maintain all exit lights are working
Ensure all lights are working inside and outside of building
Maintain plumbing
Must be able to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
Operate a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment.
Keep working area clean and orderly.
Adhere to company policies and practices

Ideal Candidates will be selected as permanent employee after 6 months and will be eligible for employment benefits.
Requirements:
2-5 Years of Mechanical or electronical engineer experience
- Ability to lift various weighted objects/products up to 50 lbs
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Able to stand and walk to 8 hours/prolonged periods
- Able to use computer for Monitoring purpose
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must have safety shoes
- Clear Background Check
- At least Two doses of vaccination against Covid- 19
Qualifications:
All positions are paid legally on SIN, associates must be eligible to work in Canada on valid work permits or PR/Citizens. We do not provide cash jobs.
